COMPANY NAME: NORWAY PRIDE
INDUSTRY: WINE DRINK
Norway Pride is an winery company based in Oslo, Norway. Their refined wines are combined with the sophistication that Oslo is known for.
30-50 year old middle and high class Europeans that appreciate art. They work mostly in formal jobs, but have hobbies related to handmade abilities. They also go to Operas and museums and admire new ideas.
To create branding that can resonate to the targeted audience and can create a trustworthy relationship between the customers and the company.
This Design Direction was developed with the idea of trying to create an association between the refined Norway taste for art and the high quality wine that Norway Pride offers.
With that in mind, the design solution was based on a couple aspects that were revealed during the design research:
The first one being Munch, the best representation of Norway Expressionism, one of the greatest painters of all the time, which was considered, during the time he was alive, to suffer from the mal du siecle (which can be translated from French to “the malady (or fight) of the century”, which, nowadays, is seeing as Depression). In parallel to this historical fact, the second research has shown that recently studies have pointed that white wines are great allies in the fight against depression, helping to increase serotonin levels in the brain.
The second fact is that Munch and wine are side by side in matters of Norway pride and love, so any association between both would be nothing but successful.
